SkillSelect: 11 June 2019 invitation round

Number of invitations remained the same at 110; invitation threshold raised to 85 points for visa subclass 189 and 90 points for subclass 489

The Department has just released the details of SkillSelect’s 9 May 2019 invitation round.

Number of invitations for subclass 189:

  • 85 points: 59
  • 90 points: 22
  • 95 points: 18
  • 100 points or higher: 1
The minimum points score for the occupations listed on SkillSelect’s website changed as follows:
  • Accountants: 95
  • Auditors, Company Secretaries and Corporate Treasurers: 90
  • Electronics Engineer: 90
  • Industrial, Mechanical and Production Engineers: 85
  • Other Engineering Professionals: 85
  • ICT Business and System Analyst: 85
  • Software and Applications Programmers: 85
  • Computer Network Professionals: 85

The minimum points score for subclass 489 raised from 85 to 90 points.
